We believe that you can judge a business by the company it keeps — and how long it keeps that company. If you check out the list below you can see why we are pretty proud to be mentioned in the same breath as many of these great organisations, which include some of the UK's finest business media and leading governing bodies and trade associations. We expect to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with all our partners, whether they are media, trade associations, commercial companies or entrepreneurs who have entrusted us with their most precious assets — their reputations and their intellectual property.

Many of these relationships are long-lasting and genuinely treasured as part of the fabric of this business. Many of the individuals concerned have become friends and confidantes. We make no apology for saying that in this company business and pleasure often go hand in hand. For example, the Fitness Industry Association was born at one of our events (Leisure Industry Week) more than 15 years ago. And we are proud to have been one of its founder members. Fifteen years later and the FIA is still right at the heart of LIW. And LIW is still growing.

Or take the Institute of Groundsmanship. IOG SALTEX has been our privilege to run, on their behalf, the IOG's flagship event, one of the half-dozen biggest business exhibitions in the whole of the UK, for 13 years.

Of course, we get equal pleasure from building exciting new relationships to galvanise and energise our business and deliver benefits for our partners too. For example, in the last year we welcomed David Conway, owner of Silver Planet Recordings as a partner in our exciting new London Calling event, as well as Frukt, a music marketing agency of frightening intellect and creativity. We have also built relationships with more than 30 other trade association and media partners covering everything from internet business to mobile marketing, pub retailing to ethnic food.

Although we like to think of ourselves as a very modern business in terms of outlook, philosophy and methodology, we also have some pretty old-fashioned values which we bring to our relationships with our partners as well as our customers and colleagues. In our view, loyalty is a precious quality to be given and expected in return. Integrity, we believe, is an absolute, not a relative. And the Churchillian will to win is something we treasure.
